DCBL Wins “Best Use of Technology” at Credit Awards 2022

The secret is out of the bag!!🎉 DCBL is proud to announce that last night we won the “Best Use of Technology – Partnerships” award at the 2022 Credit Awards, alongside our partners Webio.

DCBL Wins Best Use of Tech Award

The Credit Awards, which was held at Grosvenor House in London, is the biggest, most respected awards programme in the credit and financial services industry.

We were shortlisted alongside the likes of 247 Money, HSBC, Experian, and OVO Energy and successfully came out on top.

Our technology advances are one of the many early engagement tools which results in us being able to achieve 25% higher collection rates, compared to our competitors.

Winning these awards highlights our dedication to providing the leading debt recovery solution in the industry.

Lee Samuels-Camozzi, strategy director at DCB Legal said:

“Winning this award demonstrates our relentless pursuit to innovate, improve customer experience and achieve the best outcomes for our clients.

We constantly innovate our approach to collection and diversify channels of communication in order to maintain our position as the leading ethical collector in the parking industry. This has a two-fold benefit of maximising our collection rates for our clients and enabling customers to pay their charge as early as possible to avoid further escalation and stress.

The latest innovation at DCBL means that we meet a significant proportion of our customers in a place, and communication channel, that they prefer to use. As many as 75% of those under the age of 44 want to communicate by SMS and WhatsApp and that is only increasing as more providers offer message-based communications.

After successful trials of QR codes and our new WhatsApp channels we will roll it out across our whole suite of clients to further optimise future collections. Of course, we will still provide telephone and written channels of communication for those that prefer to contact us this way.”

The judges commended the innovative use of technology to manage a serious problem, with some impressive numbers across a range of successes. A true sign of a real partnership.

It brings us great pride to be recognised for such a prestigious award, and we look forward to seeing our partnership with Webio develop in the future.
