DCBL Welcomes Parking Industry Veteran, Steve Clark FBPA

DCBL welcomes former British Parking Association (BPA) Director of Operations and Business Development, Steve Clark FBPA, as our new Technical Parking Consultant.
The appointment comes ahead of the long-awaited and welcomed reforms to the Government’s Parking Code of Practice Act.
He retired from the BPA in 2022 and will bring knowledge and experience that will further allow us to strengthen our status as the largest parking debt recovery company in the UK.
Steve will exclusively support both current clients and new clients with queries pertaining to the Parking Code of Practice Act. He will also organise and conduct workshops for our staff and operator clients on multiple aspects of the new Code, the Conformity Assessment Scheme (CAS) and the Conformity Assessment Body (CAB).
Discussing his new appointment, Steve said:
“In my new role I am really looking forward to supporting the group, my new colleagues, and clients through uncertain times for the private parking sector, which could see significant changes enforced on the way it operates and collects on behalf of its customers. Key to this will be assisting our operators with their understanding of the code and its implementation into new working practices.”
