Meet the senior management team at DCBL
Our staff are dedicated and hardworking; without them, we wouldn't be able to provide the high-quality services that are at the heart of what we do. The expertise and care shown by our team ensure that every case we receive is managed quickly, efficiently, and compliantly.

Gary Robinson
From initially setting up the business in 2001 to the ongoing growth and success that we experience now, Gary has built and led the specialist teams in the Direct Group for over 20 years.
As the Group CEO, Gary runs the 3 businesses with a high level of business acumen that has guided us through the ups and downs of the industry and continues to drive our success. This includes our previous participation in “Can’t Pay? We’ll Take It Away!” which became a widely successful TV programme, nominated for a BAFTA award.
Gary continues to strive for further success for the businesses, with DCBL’s sister company, DCB Legal, becoming the 2nd largest litigator in the UK, and DCBL becoming the largest parking enforcement debt recovery company.
He is also ensuring that the group invests more and more back into the community and economy, with the DCBL Stadium sponsorship, support of local grassroots sports teams, and an ongoing recruitment drive.

Darren Connor
In his role of Managing Director for the Direct Group, Darren is responsible for ensuring that the companies’ data-driven debt collection and enforcement strategies are industry-leading in both operational service delivery and regulatory compliance.
Darren has 33 years of experience in the Debt Collection, Civil and High Court Enforcement industry, working at a senior level on a range of Local and Central Government contracts, including Her Majesty’s Courts and Tribunals Service and Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs.
His knowledge and experience gained over this time are being utilised to help evolve DCBL’s collection and enforcement solutions to further increase our enviable levels of customer engagement, whilst continuing to exceed our clients’ expectations across all contracts.
Outside of work Darren enjoys watching a range of sports, especially rugby now that his playing days are over, and spending time travelling with his family.
Lee Samuels-Camozzi
As the Strategy Director for the Direct Group, Lee will be driving key strategic initiatives, as well as supporting the development of long-term growth plans within the Group as a whole.
He brings over 20 years of experience at a Senior Management level within the highly regulated Utility and Communications industry to this role, with a wealth of knowledge of compliance-led Debt Collection processes that will undoubtedly bring significant value to our teams and systems across the Direct Group.
Lee has a lot of objectives that he’s looking to achieve within the company. He’s focussing on improving, innovating, and ultimately accomplishing long-term growth and success for the Group.
Outside of work Lee enjoys the variety that family life offers including travelling with his partner and 6-year-old son.
Nicola Clark
In her role as Group Operations Manager, Nicola will oversee the future development of the business’s continual improvement programmes.
Nicola has over 20 years of experience, holding a number of senior business operations and customer service manager positions in the Financial Services sector.
She is experienced in working with large teams and is passionate about coaching and mentoring staff to unlock their true potential, something that is aligned with DCBL’s mission to promote and develop its own people.
Geni Escott
Geni is an accomplished financial professional with over 7 years of experience in financial reporting and analysis, new system implementation, financial consolidation, and process improvements. Prior to her role at DCBL, she retrained with the AAT after having her 2 children and worked within a previous finance team, developing her skills up to her current management position.
She has advocated and executed multiple process automation initiatives to bring efficiency to DCBL’s finance team. She has been able to do this on the back of a successful track record of leading the team, achieving challenging goals under demanding timelines, and successfully collaborating with various teams within DCBL.
Geni always strives towards creating a productive, welcoming, and friendly work environment, encouraging every team member to achieve their best to collectively accomplish team and business objectives.
Outside of work, Geni enjoys travelling and spending quality time with her family and friends. Her 2 boys keep her active and together they enjoy activities such as jet skiing and quad biking.
Simon Williamson
Simon has been a High Court Enforcement Officer for over 25 years offering a wealth of knowledge and experience to clients and peers alike. He is also a chattel auctioneer and commercial valuer working with many Insolvency Practitioners and the Official Receiver.
Simon is active in all areas of the High Court business, working very closely with the support team in the office as well as the Enforcement Agents in the field.
“I strive for fair, effective enforcement mindful of the highest levels of service we offer our clients”.
Being a part of the DCBL senior management team is an interesting and challenging role where Simon is able to impart his business acumen and entrepreneurial spirit, which is essential within a fast-growing, leading enforcement business.
Work hard, play hard is Simon’s mantra. He enjoys a range of sports including rugby, running and skiing. He has recently completed his 100th marathon and qualified as a ski instructor. Homelife is fulfilling with a wife and three children enjoying many extra-curricular activities.
Natasha Bowen
Natasha joined DCBL in August 2021 as a Senior Client Relationship Manager: her role is to provide a tailored, personal service to our customers.
Natasha has worked within the High Court Enforcement Industry for 12 years: she has extensive knowledge of the sector along with previous experience in Operations Management and Client Relationship Management.
Natasha is driven by delivering positive results to clients; she continuously strives to deliver the highest standard of customer service by learning the client’s needs and expectations and developing strong working relationships.
Natasha enjoys socialising, listening to music and is a keen gym enthusiast.
Dave Joyce
In his role as Business Development Manager for DCBL, David offers clients an introduction to the companies processes, services and costs.
David has 18 years of experience within the collection industry and has been with DCBL for the last 10 years. He joined us as a Field Enforcement Agent before taking up the role of Business Development Manager in April 2016. His role involves acting for clients in debt recovery matters, dealing with bulk volume debt recovery, as well as bespoke complex collection matters for companies and individuals.
David likes to go to Old Trafford to watch Manchester United and exploring the UK in his motor home.
Nicholas Nicholaou
Nicholas joined DCBL as the Marketing Manager in 2021. Prior to this Nicholas worked for a number of large organisations within the leisure, hospitality and sports sectors.
His understanding and experience in different sectors lend to his expertise in strengthening businesses through marketing strategies, and mean that he can effectively build and develop teams to achieve a full range of business objectives.
Nicholas has recently been awarded an ACIM by the Chartered Institute of Marketing for his marketing experience over the last 10 years.
Nicholas oversees the marketing and communication functions of the Direct Group. Collaborating closely with the rest of the senior management team, Nick has an instrumental role in developing and implementing key branding and marketing strategies to ultimately grow the brand and push Direct Group into new sectors.
Nicholas enjoys going on holidays, especially to Cyprus, and spending time with family and friends.
Jennie Murphy
Jennie is the Bailiff and Enforcement Support Manager and joined DCBL in 2017. Previous to this, Jen started her career working in a collections team part-time, then joined another High Court Enforcement office in a similar management role. She now has over 12 years of experience in the industry.
Overseeing all of the High Court Enforcement activity within DCBL, Jennie is integral to organising the agents, coordinating the areas they work in, and managing the internal support team as well as the field agents. This role is hugely important, requiring Jen to be on call from 6am to 9pm!
Jennie tackles her role with passion and dedication, ensuring our clients receive outstanding service and that their debts are collected swiftly and ethically.
Jen is outgoing, bubbly and enjoys spending time with her daughter and ponies.
