DCBL Celebrates 20 years in business

DCBL are celebrating our landmark 20th year in business!

DCBL are featured in the BPA’s latest AOS newsletter with an article on our 20th business anniversary.

“Direct Collection Bailiffs Ltd (DCBL) has come a long way since its CEO Gary Robinson started it up in 2001. Now with 340 employees, five offices and 85 TV episodes to its name, DCBL celebrates its landmark 20th year in business.

The first ten years saw significant growth along with many changes and diversification into other services; more importantly, though, was the building of the sound foundations and the creation of the business ethos that has made DCBL the business it is today.

By 2010 the company had grown to 140 employees and provided a range of bailiff and high court enforcement services, along with issuing an ever-growing number of debt collection letters. Over a decade later, the thousands of debt collection letters being issued has grown to what is now millions being sent each year, most of which are for unpaid parking charges, making DCBL the UK’s leading parking debt recovery company.

With DCBL’s previous participation in the channel 5 T.V show Can’t Pay? We’ll Take It Away from 2014-2018 they have been able to utilise their unrivalled brand awareness to build reassurance and trust with their customers, increasing the propensity for early engagement and ultimately minimising the need for unnecessary litigation.

DCBL is looking forward to celebrating its official 20th birthday in October at the DCBL Stadium, which it sponsors for the Widnes Vikings rugby league team. However, if this isn’t possible, they will be sure to have a coming of age party for their 21st next year!”
