DCBL Provides Stadium Sponsorship to Home of Widnes Vikings

DCBL has reached a landmark deal with Halton Council to provide much-needed main sponsorship to the Halton Stadium, home of the Widnes Vikings Rugby League club.
The agreement, finalised in November 2019, provides vital income to the historic stadium following two years without a sponsor and is another fantastic opportunity for DCBL to contribute to the Halton community. Since relocating, DCBL has continued to develop our award-winning service and further cement our position as industry leaders. Doubling in staff and expanding into our Halton head office in 2018, we have been persistent in taking UK High Court enforcement and debt recovery by storm, which is thanks in part to the excellent base provided by the well-connected borough.

From apprenticeship schemes personally championed by our CEO to encourage local talent to be the MDs, FDs and CEOs of the future, through to recently sponsoring the Halton Business Awards to great success, we are proud to support local initiatives.
As the home of the mighty Widnes Vikings, the stadium has been a firm cornerstone of the local community since it was built 125 years ago. DCBL’s sponsorship of the stadium will have a positive impact, allowing the council to improve services for users of its facilities, the teams who call it home, and their thousands of fans.
The newly renamed DCBL Stadium on Lowerhouse Lane, Widnes, has a capacity of 13,350 and was first opened in 1895. As well as the Widnes Vikings, the stadium is also home to Everton Ladies FC, Liverpool Ladies FC, Widnes FC, and the Halton Spartans American Football Club.
