Direct Security Mobile Patrols Come to Aid of Halton Haven Hospice After Vandal Attack

Direct Security’s Operations Manager Andy Thompson was recently bestowed the title of Hospice Hero by Halton Haven Hospice, a local palliative care unit, for his work in helping the Hospice stay safe and secure following a bout of vandalism at the site.

The Hospice had appealed for local support after windows were smashed, locks were broken and gardening tools were stolen in March amid the Coronavirus pandemic.

In response, Direct Security Solutions have provided Mobile Patrols to ensure the staff and residents at Halton Haven Hospice have peace of mind and feel safe and secure from now on.

Sarah Deacon, the Hospice’s Clinical Services Manager, called Andy “a true gent”, stating that Andy’s team had restored their “faith in humanity”.

We couldn’t be more proud of the team and will continue to support the local Halton community.
