Direct Security Attains SIA ACS Accreditation For 12th Year!

Direct Security is extremely proud to announce that we have successfully attained the SIA ACS Accreditation for the 12th year running.
Every year, a Home Office auditor attends the Direct Group offices to oversee how Direct Security operates as a business, giving us a chance to demonstrate the calibre of our services.
At the end of the audit, the auditor provides us with a report which outlines the various points of interest in the audit, the staff interviewed and the outcome.
This report also details any actions that may need to the corrected and when these are expected to be completed.
The score we received during the audit has put us in the top 5% of the country, highlighting the high standards we provide as a business.
The main service areas that are examined within the audit are:
Key Holding and Alarm Response
This service is typically used if out-of-hours access to a building or other premises is required for security and safety purposes.
Our security officers operate from a continuously manned control room that monitors alarm systems 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
Keys to your building will be kept in the control room vault so that if we are notified by an alarm activation we can dispatch an officer quickly to investigate.
Door Supervisor and Security Guarding
Although the use of technology such as CCTV and alarm systems are increasing in popularity, there is still a need for security in the form of people.
There are numerous assignments where a human presence is required, including:
- Foot patrols
- Meeting and greeting visitors on the site
- Controlling access and egress
- Providing visible deterrents
