Burglars Stopped In Their Tracks

During the early hours of Friday 25th June, one of our mobile patrol and response units came across a group of males carrying out a burglary at an industrial unit in Runcorn. On seeing our officers, the offenders made off on motorbikes. Our officers called the police immediately and were able to provide offender descriptions and directions of travel. Our officers remained at the scene until the police arrived in order to preserve evidence and protect the building.

“I am immensely proud of our officers,” said our operations director, Andy Thompson. “As a former police officer, I know coming across a burglary in progress is a rare event. Our officers responded quickly and professionally and undoubtedly prevented further property from being stolen. We hope the police can identify and arrest the people responsible.”
