Direct House expansion update 2

Expanding Direct House: An Update

Expanding Direct House – 2021 marks 20 years since Direct Collection Bailiffs Ltd was conceived, and the success and professional development that the company has accomplished since then have been extraordinary.

Expanding Direct House – Not only do we have hundreds of employees, a hit TV series, and 5 strategically situated offices around the country, but we have also evolved to offer our clients one solution to debt recovery. The inception of Direct Group with our sister companies DCB Legal and Direct Security allows us to support our clients through every stage of the debt recovery process.

One month ago we proudly announced the final part of the expansion of Direct Group’s head offices in Runcorn, Cheshire. Whilst this was initially delayed due to unforeseen circumstances (thanks, Covid!) we are now thrilled to disclose that significant progress is being made and we can expect to see more resemblance of an office within the next few weeks!

This expansion comes after a momentous period of growth within the group; alongside the physical development of our offices, we are also offering numerous opportunities for ambitious individuals to join our existing teams. We’re working diligently to provide a dynamic and lively office culture to around 80-100 new colleagues, ensuring that Direct Group continues to lead the way in the debt recovery and enforcement industry.

Debt Collection Experts Office Expansion

Whilst many people have enjoyed working from home, and perhaps even been anxious about returning to offices, we feel that our recent developments are shining a light at the end of the tunnel. The Covid-19 pandemic has forced us to work from home and distance ourselves from our friends, family, and colleagues, and we’re now at the stage where getting back together will be a (socially distanced) jubilant occasion. No doubt it will also be a relief to some!

Getting back out, buying coffees and cake, and catching up with colleagues are things we can all look forward to, and as our expansion continues, so the anticipation and excitement around the office grow. We can’t wait to see the finished office and meet the new staff!

Direct Group’s Managing Director, Darren Connor, expressed his pride in the promising direction that the group is heading in:

“The past fifteen months have impacted us all in many different ways, both in our working and personal lives. Despite these difficult and challenging times our colleagues across the Direct Group have pulled together to support each other and have continued to provide an outstanding service to our valued clients, an achievement I’m incredibly proud of.

With the easing of national restrictions, comes an opportunity to complete the final phase of the expansion at Direct House in order to meet the growing demand for our debt collection and litigation services, whilst also providing a welcome boost to the local economy through the creation of up to a 100 new jobs”.

Last year we started the planning, and finally, those long-awaited plans are coming to light.

“The goal for the DCBL team has always been to be the best, this has also resulted in us becoming the biggest.”
