The mighty Vikings are only 2 wins away from a trip to Wembley!

This Sunday, Widnes Vikings take on York Knights in the 1895 Cup Quarter Final at the LNER Community Stadium. Following a hard won victory away at Doncaster, the Vikings look to secure their place in the Semi Final and take one step closer to silverware.

The last time Widnes headed to the capital was for the maiden 1895 Cup Final, where they unfortunately suffered defeat to Sheffield Eagles after a strong lead at half-time.

If Widnes can secure a win in York this weekend, an away day for the DCBL team might be on the cards…
