7th March 2025
Simon Williamson has completed his challenge of running 366 consecutive days, raising an incredible £50,000 for Parkinsons UK.
We’re incredibly proud of Simon and it was an honour to support him on this amazing journey. Over the course of 366 days, Simon ran a combined 2,920km, which is the same distance as Southampton to Istanbul! His total elevation gain was 30,036m – more than three times the height of Mount Everest.
Simon was joined by a different person each day, including Guinness World Record holders, Cricketers, Rugby League players, friends and family.
Simon shared to his LinkedIn:
“The target was £30k and with the help of all you and especially DCBL, we have surpassed all expectations and have raised an astonishing £50k. All I can say is a massive thank you.”
Well done Simon, put your feet up and relax!
