Widnes Vikings – Double Headliner

We’ve got a fantastic line-up at the DCBL stadium this Sunday.

The Vikings women’s team take on GB police in a pre-season friendly, ahead of the first team’s clash with Sheffield Eagles in their first home game of the season.

Women’s team head coach Dom Dean named his squad for the fixture earlier this week, with new signings Millie Richardson, Codie Slack, and Ashley Manson set to make their debut.

As for the men’s team, loanee fullback Noah Hodkinson could be set to make an appearance after receiving high praise from head coach Allan Coleman.

“He’s got electrifying pace, he’s very brave and just really plays on the front foot. I’m really excited to get him on board and I think straight away people will see what he brings to the team”

After their battle in the South of France ended in a well deserved 18-14 victory, the Viking’s are looking for back-to-back wins as they welcome Sheffield to the DCBL stadium on Sunday afternoon.
